Im new here you can call me koki
And i use any pronouns
Nice to meet you all :)
Yo
Back with yet another app, this time I would like to claim the former title of the World’s Greatest Sharpshooter, prior to Vipe Lycodia, as well as claiming the Gutsu Gutsu no Mi, Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki (Future Sight), and lastly a Bounty Review for the fun of it. All for the same character, the character in question is Harrison. I highly suggest reading his actual page for a more detailed description of some of the stuff within the app, mainly his Devil Fruit usage.
History:
I haven’t fleshed out his full backstory yet, so I can only provide the brief version which I assume would be enough for the app.
As a young kid, Harrison was born and grew up on an unnamed Winter Island within Paradise and participated in defending the Island from Pirates from an extremely young age. His involvement defending the Island would give it the name of Gunpoint Island, single handedly stopping the raids of Pirates with his help. Harrison was also noted at a young age to have extremely good eyesight, being able to see a very long distance and notifying the Island’s inhabitants of Pirates hours before they actually could set foot on the Island. Together with his great eyesight and skills as a Marksman, Harrison would sink the ships approaching the Island as soon as he put his sights on them.
Similar to Shanks and Yassop, Harrison’s skills as a Marksman would eventually precede himself and Giles D. Rais, better known as Bluebeard, would seek out the Marksman and recruit him into his crew. Harrison would then take the spot as one of the Five-Stars of the crew, those only second to the Captain himself and said to be the strongest within the crew. Rais was immediately targeted by Harrison when his ship was approaching Gunpoint Island, however because of Rais' Bari Bari no Mi Harrison’s shots could not sink the ship.
It was during the start as a member of the Bluebeard Pirates where Harrison would gain the title of the World’s Greatest Sharpshooter, being not only the main sniper of the crew but also considered as their gunner and lookout. Often the first thing people would see through binoculars or scopes would be Harrison laying in the crow’s nest of the Mary Celeste when the Bluebeard Pirates were approaching an Island.
Not long after joining the crew, Harrison would gain possession of the Gutsu Gutsu no Mi and after much hesitation would consume it. This Devil Fruit would become a great asset in the future to come.
As a member of the Bluebeard Pirates, Harrison participated in the Battle of Kamabakka against Belial Eldritch and the Ghoul Pirates.
Harrison would join Redbeard’s grand fleet, while still serving under Giles D. Rais.
Similarly he also participated in the God Valley Incident, fighting alongside his Captain against some of the strongest characters within the Fanon-Canon. Harrison showed great talent as a Marksman during the battle and used his Devil Fruit ability constantly during the encounter. Harrison would lose his temper after the death of his Captain, and by the effects of his Devil Fruit would partially destroy some of the Island. After the incident, Harrison managed to escape the battle alongside Gaston Maugard, ending up on an unnamed Winter Island within Paradise where Harrison was born.
In more recent times, Harrison fought against two former apprentices of the Bluebeard Pirates during the Battle of Thriller Bark. Fighting against Toshiro and Bartholomew Roberts, alongside another former member that was Mont Blanc Moreland. Harrison and Moreland would lose the fight, losing Thriller Bark and a rubbing of a Poneglyph in the process however not before during some damage to their two opponents and the Island itself.
Harrison would eventually meet the Rookie Pirate Kenny, after the boy had lost his rifle in a Marksman competition Harrison agreed to help and by the powers of the Gocha Gocha no Mi the two would merge together and defeat Kenny’s former opponent, gaining back his rifle. This moment made Harrison give his signature hat to Kenny, passing on his will to the young Rookie.
Why should he be considered for the title?:
I personally consider Harrison to be worthy of the title considering how much he has devoted his life to being a Marksman, starting from a very young age all the way to the current. Not many within the Fanon-Canon use firearms as their primary weapons, which is a reason for the character’s creation as it shines a light on something not many rely on.
His arsenal of techniques consists of many which increases his bullets’ potency, destructive capabilities, and speed. Harrison learned to imbue his bullets with Haki, long enough so he would be able to shoot them towards his opponent. Using his bullets in this manner he can produce a flying slash-like barrier around each bullet, generating an attack that both pierces and slashes his opponent at the same time. Together with his Devil Fruit ability, Harrison can produce bullets which burn away his opponents flesh as they get pierced, and even if dodged these bullets would still scorch the skin simply by the close proximity to the bullets. All of this together makes him an extremely formidable foe at a long range.
Not only that, Harrison also possesses Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki (If approved that is). Being able to see into the future and predict his opponent’s actions, and aiming his guns where his opponent would take their steps. His natural eyesight alone is usually enough to take out any opponent, no matter the distance.
It should also be noted that his involvement with the Bluebeard Pirates should be a factor for gaining the title, where he fought against some extremely strong opponents in his past and has participated in some important moments and events within the Fanon-Canon.
Why did he lose the title?:
This is very simple to answer, Harrison simply became less active within the public’s view and became less of a threat for the World Government. Settling down on his home Island for some years after the Battle of Thriller Bark. Vipe Lycodia, the current title holder, would eventually surpass him as a public figure after her rise as a Pirate and the Empress of Amazon Lily.
Why should he have Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki?:
It shouldn’t be a surprise someone like Harrison would have the ability to use Advanced Kenbunshoku Haki. Harrison has extraordinary mastery of Kenbunshoku Haki where he is able to use the advanced form of it which allows him to see visions of a few seconds into the future. He is able to use his precognition to increase the accuracy of his attacks to such a degree that someone like Toshiro, who is a highly skilled Haki user himself, could barely dodge his assaults during their fight. Harrison can use his Haki in conjunction with his Devil Fruit abilities to great effect. Since he can see slightly into the future, he can predict precisely where an attack will land on his body or crewmates, allowing him time to use his Devil Fruit abilities to melt the bullets that would hit his own body or using his body as a shield for others, or catching the bullets in his mouth and melting it down to use through his own body.
As a master Marksman and sniper, the ability to use an Advanced type of Kenbunshoku Haki simply increases his already established capabilities.
Why should he have the Devil Fruit in question?:
I think the Devil Fruit would fit the character extremely well, and the usage I have in mind isn’t that similar to what we see in the anime nor the premier show it debuted in.
The Gutsu Gutsu no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows Harrison to eat ore and melt it into a molten state inside his body like a blast furnace and release the molten metal from his body in whatever form he desires. Harrison would often use this Devil Fruit ability to partially melt his bullets in his mouth, spitting them out and loading his guns with the partially molten bullets. Increasing not only their destructive capabilities but also their speed.
Harrison can also consume a large amount of ores in order to coat his body, partially or entirely, to increase his defensive capabilities. I can definitely see him using his powers to block incoming bullets, whether coating his skin in metal or simply increasing his body heat and melting the bullet when it comes in contact with his skin. This would also fit well together with his former Captain, as he also had a very defensive Devil Fruit.
Bounty review:
Not many are willing to get a bounty review for their characters, but I am hoping for a bounty of over a billion. Might be a long shot in the dark, but it's of course up to the Admins to decide my fate on the matter. Giving a short explanation of the app at the end here, Harrison has used firearms since he was a young kid daily. He would join the Bluebeard Pirates as one of its core members, becoming the sniper of the crew. He would fight alongside and against other legendary crews, alongside the rest of the Bluebeard Pirates. He fought against two very notable characters in more recent times, that being two Yonko candidates at the same time. He trained Kenny in the skills of a Marksman and Kenbunshoku Haki as well.
As Fallen is planning on making Bluebeard a former Yonko, it wouldn’t be hard to imagine that one of his highest ranking members would have an extremely high bounty. In the canon series Yonko Commanders have a bounty of at least a billion, which is what I am hoping for Harrison as well.
The Ratatouille Pirates intend to claim the Baratie as their territorial base within the One Piece fanon group. Under Ratatouille's leadership, the floating restaurant will serve as both a culinary hub and a strategic location for the crew's endeavors. Retaining its reputation for exquisite food, the Baratie will attract patrons from across the seas, serving to gather intelligence from the wide array of customers, ranging from commoners to the world's most influential figures. Ratatouille, with his formidable Smooth Smooth Fruit (If he gets it) ,will maintain the highest level of secrecy and security, ensuring the Baratie's continuous operation as a reputable dining establishment.
The chefs and staff at Baratie, renowned for their skill and expertise, will operate under Ratatouille's command with a shared sense of loyalty and purpose. They will not only continue their trade of crafting delectable dishes but also function as a well-organized network to support the Ratatouille Pirates' activities. The Baratie's unique mobile nature allows for swift relocation, providing a movable feast and a versatile headquarters from which Ratatouille can orchestrate his operations.
Ratatouille's utilization of the Baratie will be in line with the One Piece world, leveraging its resources to foster alliances, repair and resupply his fleet, and as a venue to host negotiations with allies and adversaries alike. The alliance between the restaurant and the Ratatouille Pirates will be mutually beneficial; the Baratie will gain protection and an increase in notoriety, while Ratatouille will have a steady income source and a discreet meeting place. This partnership will enhance the narrative experience for the fanon group, adding depth to the crew's storyline and creating new opportunities for interaction and collaboration within the shared universe.
Ratatouille's integration of the Shibo Shibo no Mi, also known as the Wring-Wring Fruit, with his already considerable skill set is a testament to his strategic foresight and combat ingenuity. By incorporating the fruit's powers, he envisions a multitude of applications that extend well beyond mere combat, reflecting a symbiotic relationship with his culinary expertise and seafaring lifestyle.
In combat scenarios, Ratatouille plans to employ the fruit's unique abilities to dehydrate adversaries, rendering them weak and fragile, thus susceptible to swift incapacitation. Moreover, this ability grants him the versatility to extract and redirect any liquid element from his opponents’ bodies or the immediate environment, presenting an overwhelming tactical advantage. His quick reflexes and adept hand-to-hand combat skills, honed through rigorous training, make him a formidable opponent capable of swiftly wringing out the vitality of his adversaries.
Beyond direct confrontation, Ratatouille envisions the use of the Shibo Shibo no Mi for emergency situations and environmental manipulation. In instances of flooding or heavy rainfall, he can easily alleviate the peril by wringing out excessive moisture from the air or surfaces, thereby safeguarding his crew and vessel. Additionally, he could potentially create water supplies in dire situations, mitigating the risk of dehydration on long voyages.
Within the realm of utility, Ratatouille aims to employ the fruit's powers to enhance his culinary creations. With the ability to precisely control the moisture content of ingredients, he can achieve unparalleled flavors and textures, elevating his dishes to a level of gourmet excellence that is simply unattainable for the average chef. This control extends to food preservation, a critical feature for sustaining a healthy crew on lengthy expeditions, whereby he can maintain or remove moisture as needed to prevent spoilage.
Furthermore, Ratatouille anticipates leveraging the Shibo Shibo no Mi’s powers to aid in medical scenarios. By extracting harmful liquids from wounds or bodily systems, he can offer crucial support in the absence of a medical professional, which, on the unpredictable and treacherous Grand Line, could very well be the difference between life and death.
Lastly, Ratatouille plans to harness the fruit's powers to conduct stealth operations. By wringing out his own bodily fluids, he can reduce his weight and size, allowing for a level of stealth and infiltration that rivals even the most specialized of ninja. This could prove invaluable during missions requiring a delicate touch or when gathering intelligence from rival factions.
On a grander scale, Ratatouille intends to utilize the Shibo Shibo no Mi to benefit others beyond his immediate crew. By sharing his knowledge of moisture manipulation, he could aid islands suffering from drought or floods, using his powers to either provide water or alleviate excess. It is his firm belief that such an ability comes with the responsibility to assist those in need, and he is committed to wielding the Shibo Shibo no Mi in a manner that reflects such a principle.
In summation, the strategic utilization of the Shibo Shibo no Mi's abilities aligns impeccably with Ratatouille’s distinct combat style, humanitarian ethos, and the daily operational needs of a pirate crew. Ratatouille's acquisition and mastery of the Wring-Wring Fruit would not only augment his own prowess but also serve the well-being of his allies and potentially that of the wider world.
Should the administrators grant me permission for the utilization of the Smooth Smooth Fruit, Ratatouille's character concept will showcase the fruit's capabilities in a variety of innovative ways. His combat style will emphasize mobility and misdirection, using the fruit's power to evade enemy attacks by reducing friction on his body, making it nearly impossible for opponents to land a blow. In turn, Ratatouille will employ the same frictionless effect to slip past guards or barriers when engaging in espionage or theft.
In battle, he will not only use the fruit defensively but also offensively, by applying the slip effect to his weapons, making them difficult to block or grab. This will bring a unique element to fights, as Ratatouille can create unexpected trajectories for both melee and ranged attacks. Moreover, he plans to use his powers to aid in naval encounters, making his ship's deck slippery to invaders, thus protecting it from boarding parties.
On a practical level, if given the go-ahead, Ratatouille will demonstrate the Smooth Smooth Fruit's daily uses, which include maintaining a clean and orderly appearance, and performing ship maintenance by quickly gliding across surfaces for repairs. His ability to move swiftly and unnoticed will also play a pivotal role in storylines that involve stealth and infiltration.
The character's detailed use of the Smooth Smooth Fruit will adhere strictly to the established lore and powers, ensuring that its application fits within the One Piece fanon world's rules and enriches the overall narrative experience for all members of the community.
Hey Idolsama! Here!
Hi I'm new and was wondering why does you guys choose our bounties for when a roleplay is over
YOSHA!
This one has been a long time coming. Personally, I think the app itself has kinda stopped me from pursuing other things so I'm ready to get this weight off my shoulders, So without further ado, I think its time I finally apply for the following:
Sora Daisuke's bounty assignment
The official title: "World's Worst Criminal"/"The Most Wanted"
Daisuke being a (former) World Noble
So this app will follow a similar format to my usual ones however I will be calling upon various pages rather than the ones linked above. With that being said, I do recommend you read as much content as possible, for the app but also, I'm quite proud of my work lol.
Lets begin!
What does it mean to be the Most Dangerous Criminal?
Literally speaking, the title is bestowed to the character with the largest active bounty. But, how does one earn such fearsome notoriety. I don't think there's any singular way/path of achieving such infamy. I don't think characters have to necessarily be revolutionaries either. But rather, the Most Dangerous Criminal has to be the single most threatening figure to the World Government. And among the plethora of other menacing figures in the FC, this is no easy feat.
Yet before I dive into why I think Daisuke has successfully distinguished himself from the many threats against the World Government - I want to dive into the question a more nuanced question?.
How does Daisuke being the Most Wanted Criminal benefit the Fanon Canon?
I think this question is worthwhile as at the end of the day, we are community of users. Characters with noteworthy titles, positions and ranks should help the FC in a myriad of ways. I feel like our community and progression as a storyline has suffered as result of our noteworthy characters not directly/indirectly manufacturing storylines for users.
This is far from the case for Daisuke. Daisuke has arguably been the most active (in a literary sense) character and in my opinion, influenced the trajectory of story the most. As the primary antagonist of my storylines, he's been an extension of myself - manufacturing events for not only my characters but others as well; heavily impacting a lot of the overarching plots of the story up until now. And this will continue to be the case moving forward. Just speaking for current active role-plays: Daisuke is disclosing the Endpoints to Seiryuu, negotiating the bounties of Marines with Bloodbeard, lobbying Delilah to his cause, ordering Mitarashi to inspire calamity through the rookies and indirectly causing Diane's execution, he's laying the groundwork for the upcoming saga, just as he did for those in the past and like he will continue to do until his demise.
Returning to the question, Daisuke being the "Most Wanted Criminal" benefits the FC because he'll continue to do what he's done for the Fanon Canon but he'll have a new title that reflects his current standing. He'll elevate the stakes of story and move plots forward, Need more specifics, peep the Eclipse War Saga page.
Why I think Daisuke should be the World's Worst Criminal?
As I was writing this app, I felt like I couldn't capture why I personally felt Daisuke should be the World's Worst Criminal. So that's this quick section.
I believe Daisuke should be considered the World's Worst Criminal because he's the greatest adversary to the World Government currently living. I think his previous standing as the Hero of the Marines and his close association with global icon of Sora, Warrior of the Sea demands an appropriate global response from the the World Government. They need to thoroughly denounce him. Because if they don't what does that say about them? The United Federation is mainly comprised of former marines and many former affiliates. Minimizing him would only mean minimizing the strength of the Marines - the military force of the World Government.
Unlike his criminal counterparts who could have been systematically denounced over the course of their careers, Daisuke is being charged for all his crimes them at once. His crimes but more importantly, his inability to be held responsible for them accurately shows why he stands above the rest. The World Government mainly uses propaganda and misinformation to vilify its rising enemies over the course of many years, labeling them as evil criminals. But such opportunities aren't present when dealing with Daisuke.
The government he spearheads currently has the highest bounty total of any other organization, not including Daiuske himself who I expect will eclipse ever other member's bounty. The United Federation has affiliate nations in all four blue, Paradise, the New World and has claimed the vast majority of the skies: his empire surpasses any of the pirate counterparts. For more sets peep the United Federation page.
One thing I wanted to make note of is Daisuke's ability to attack from virtually any distance and invade nations without any signs or notice. His devil fruit power and knowledge of georgraphy/world government travel routes makes him a unique threat. Additionally the mastery and scale of his power allows him to potential drop bombs on nations - as he's done in the past for the marines.
If Daisuke is considered the strongest character by users, has the most victories in combat, commands the organization with the highest total bounty, has a reached fame that surpasses anyone since Roger and has influence and territory in each seas, the better question would be, who is more fitting?
I'lll elaborate more on the above points in the next section.
What actually makes Daisuke the World's Worst Criminal?
Alright, I think with context established above it's time to address the topic that I think draws more interest when it comes to these apps. I know bounties aren't necessarily strength measurements but because higher bounty typically correlates to higher prestige, what warrants Daisuke having the single highest bounty in our storyline.:
Power: Daisuke has the single most wins against noteworthy characters in our fanon canon. (Surpassed Kong) In reality this statement alone should be enough to justify his strength. Highlighted by the fact Daisuke was voted as the strongest active character in our fanon canon in 2023, Daisuke is often used as a measuring stick for most. He's had victories over all the Yonko, multiple Shichishokō, a few warlords, and other characters as well. Honestly, I don't really feel much need to justify this section - peep the record, peep his abilities, peep the experience, even if you don't think he's number one, he's in that conversation.
Reputation: Without sugar-coating it, I think Daisuke stands at summit of this category with arguably no compare. Daisuke is unequivocally the most renowned individual alive - it's been his intention and my own since this character's creation. I can go on and list his many titles, accolades and accomplishments but you can see those on his page. Daisuke has been on an uncontested global marketing campaign for over four decades. With control over the main global news provider, his reputation transcends mere fame, he's a figure of historical relevance. Through the combination of his own resume and the constant release of his fictional incarnation, Daisuke has been deified - he's transcended the realms of men and become a symbol, synonymous with justice itself. With that being said, I ask you this, if your character died today, what would their legacy be? Daisuke's legacy is etched into history and now the World Government must rewrite it in order to vilify their once brightest star.
Knowledge: An underrated dimension of one's threat, Daisuke's knowledge of the world around him despite the World Government's very blatant attempts mitigate and minimize the spread of information makes him an undeniable threat to the global regime. I feel like this may become a point of contention, but could Daisuke be the most travelled individual? How many could say they've been to all known islands? Will I get in trouble if I say Daisuke has - been traveling the since his teens with legal authority and unquestionable ease? Anyways, Daisuke is intrinsically familiar with nuanced aspects of the world. As a former high-ranking marine, Daisuke has a level of insight into the organization that can be detrimental. Unlike most, he's extremely well educated and has had access to a wealth of resources others will never be privy to - from his time as a noble to his standing as a marine. Additionally, It's worth noting Daisuke does not care much for the Void Century or the Poneglyphs. However, he is aware of its significance and the actions the government is willing to take - something he's leveraged on numerous occasions.
Support: Couldn't think of a better word as I felt territory or allies don't effectively encapsulate what Daisuke has at his disposal. But starting with the United Federation, Daisuke has an organization that has a former marine admiral, three renowned vice-admirals and various other renowned figures in their respective specialties. The militia itself is comprised of hundreds of thousands of officers. With regards to affiliates, Daisuke has multiple threatening nations at his disposal, including Elbaf, Wano and Amazon Lily. Thanks to Senkaku's accomplishments, the vast majority of the White Sea is at his control as well - a sea that has become emblematic of the World Government's failures. Despite having territory comparable to the Yonko within Grand Line, his reach exceeds the pirate filled sea as he has powerful allies in each of the Four Blues as well. Daisuke has even be negotiate deals with other criminals to either heighten his strength or minimize that of the Government.'s
"Wealth, Fame, Power, Daisuke has found this an all else the world has to offer." A bit cliché I know but when you think about the summit of each of these standing - there's an argument for Daisuke to standing at the top for each of them. He's acquired a wealth of information, resources and support that has been shown to be capable of disrupting the Three Great Powers. For his acts of heroism, the figure associated with the abolishment of slavery and his fictional incarnation being revered as the symbol of justice - Daisuke's has achieved global and historical immortalization. Daisuke has remained at the top of the food-chain for nearly four decades. His personal power has only grown through experience and the power he has amassed through others only magnifies his own capabilities. He is our fanon canon's worst criminal.
What do I think Daisuke's bounty should be?
I'm going to be transparent, if it were up to me Daisuke's bounty would be 6 billion berri. Both the title and the bounty are more symbolic nature. As I've highlighted I think Daisuke has given the World Government no choice with regards to grotesquely denouncing him. And given Daisuke's overwhelming influence over the media - this is the only real way to do it. For those thinking, I can go into the specifics about how his crimes would add up to six billion but I rather not waste time.
I know 6b is a tough number to sell given no one in the series has had a bounty even close to it. I was hoping Dragon's bounty would have debuted by now but since it hasn't, I'll have to set the bar. As expressed on Daisuke's page, I envision Daisuke's bounty being higher than 5 billion.. He should be in the GOAT discussion. I personally feel he's certainly a greater threat than Kong and wanted to play with the numbers like Big Mom and Kaido, so I went with: 5,290,290,000. I would be happier with a higher bounty though!
What is Daisuke's true objective and his motivation?
Since it used to be a topic of interest, I think I better detail Daisuke's motivation and objective. Daisuke's dream is to become the King of the World - to sit on the Empty Throne and create a world in his image. I feel it's important I highlight how this dream manifested so you can better understand Daisuke approach towards it moving forward.
Daisuke wasn't born free. Instead his birth was coupled with purpose, to be the "Child of Prophecy". He was told he was going to be the Hero that saved everyone with a smile on his face. Raised by those with deep rooted hate for the World Government, Daisuke's talents were exploited by his mother and others to bring about a new era framed by the past. However, it wasn't the trials and training that burdened the young Daisuke - his exceptionalism made this part easy and thus feel not worthwhile. Rather, it was his lack of commitment to the dream being forced onto him. Thus, as he got older he began to seek freedom - freedom from the responsibilities placed onto him.
When Dasiuke's lack of conviction became apparent to those sponsoring him, his mother wished to expose him to realities of world. This attempt however only revealed to Daisuke the truth of his bloodline. Learning of his noble origins, he sought out his father in order to break free from his responsibilities. However, this would come at an unimaginable cost. Daisuke's petition brought destruction to Lodestar - he was forced to kill his mother to prove his nobility. And in that moment, Daisuke began to recognize how rotten the world was,
His nobility didn't bring him the freedom he desired. Instead, he was often tested by his father to prove his nobility by committing egregious acts to prove his belief in their superiority, His time as a noble impacted him tremendously, birthing his duplicit nature and numbing him to cruelty. Whilst constantly proving himself, he longed for true freedom. In due time, a path became available to him through the Native Hunting Competition. Willing to kill others to attain his desire, Daisuke secured the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi, freeing himself from the fruitless life of nobility through the hands of liberation.
Daisuke was free. He could freely travel the world, remove any suffering from himself and act of his own accord. While this freedom was satisfying at first it inevitably came with unprecedented loneliness. Daisuke didn't care for the world as it currently was but he also didn't care for the past many in the world were attempting to recreate. Instead, he hoped for a future with actual meaning - meaning he would give it. With the power of liberation at his disposal, Daisuke looked to liberate others just like he did for himself.
Little did he know the world was filled with emancipators. With the hope to rally those to his cause, Daisuke travelled to Elbaf where he was confronted by Redbeard. In the face of unlimited strength, Daisuke was defeated. In his defeat, Daisuke wondered how someone stronger than him had failed to triumph over World Government and if Redbeard couldn't how could he. It was at this crucial turning point where he was met by Napoleon. In their discussion, Napoleon revealed to Daisuke what he felt the world needed was not an emancipator. Freedom without order is chaos. Instead what the world needed was a leader. The symbol that is the Empty Throne has lost its meaning and thus people needed a new symbol to place their faith in.
Thus, Daisuke's true objective manifested from this discussion. Instead of liberating the world, he'd come to rule it. To be the symbol that the world has lost. Daisuke was going to become the King of the World.
Hopefully through this abridged version of his history you come to understand Daisuke's dream. What he has been working towards is not to defeat or destroy the World Government necessarily but supplant the Empty Throne, symbolically and literally. And when you consider his actions through this lens, it becomes clear how effective he's been in accomplishing this dream.
What has Daisuke done to achieve his dream?
In the story of One Piece, some might say dreams and ambition are the source power. While this is true to some extent, in reality, its one's commitment to their dream that distinguishes the strong from the weak. Whether it's to protect your friends and family like Whitebeard and Garp or become the Pirate King like Luffy or Blackbeard, all dreams are equal if one's conviction to them is strong enough when tested.
Thus, rather than evaluating one's ambition we should really be considering the road to making their dreams a reality. As truly testing one's convictions is the only way to see if they can make their dream a reality. Given the complexity of Daisuke's objective, Daisuke has had his commitment tested in various ways over the course of seven decades and yet he has persevered throughout.
Daisuke's road to Worst Criminal is reflective of the dream he's attempting to achieve. Similar to Luffy and his approach to becoming Pirate King, when coming up with Daisuke's origins and growth throughout his storyline, it was my objective to highlight the formidableness of his opposition and the difficulty of his path.
Daisuke became a marine to better position himself to become King. He needed to become a symbol not solely based on strength or might but rather one built on faith of the masses. However, as criminal, he would never be able earn such faith as his image would be torn down long before he could earn enough support. Thus, he was leveraging the marines role in the world to better his position, a tactic he probably would not have considered if it weren't for his tenure as a noble, lying and acting for the sake of his dream.
Daisuke was quick to make headlines. HIs powers allowed him to travel faster than any vessel and defeat enemies with a single swipe of his hand. The word "Hero" became synonymous with Daisuke as he saved civilians and compatriots alike. However, Daisuke's actions did not always serve to benefit the government and after a few blatant instances insubordination he was being monitored and censored in headlines by Cipher Pol.
Upon noticing his actions being attributed to the marines as a whole, minimizing his influence as a result, Daisuke looked to confront the press. He found the Flying Teapot and was confronted by the agent leading the operation against him in Apollo. However, during this confrontation, Daisuke was able to earn Apollo's support much to Hedwig's amazement. Apollo and Hedwig were the first major supporters of Daisuke and their respective influence and positions allowed Daisuke to carry on with his dream.
In the years that followed Daisuke's might and fame reached astronomical levels as he reached the rank of Vice-Admiral at record pace. However in parallel to his and the other marines' rise, the Redbeard Pirates and their respective allies had become a force that many feared across the Grand Line. Daisuke realized in order to establish himself as the symbol he hoped to become, he'd need to vanquish this great evil. He failed at this on numerous occasion - rebellious when it came to cooperating with others.
Then came the God Valley Incident. The Redbeard Pirates targeted nobles and a number of marine forces were sent to combat them. Although a secret operation had already been underway to assassinate Redbeard, Daisuke delivered killing blow - positioning himself to carry out his objective.
Following the God Valley Incident, Daisuke was labelled as the Hero of the Marines. With global praise and adulation, Daisuke took the opportunity to try and seize his dream. During the upcoming Levely, Daisuke infiltrated the chambers and addressed the royals of the world. In a truly awe inspiring speech, he preached the vision he had for his world. Unfortunately, the royals, while supportive of Daisuke and his role as Hero, were not willing to break their faith in current established order - noting Daisuke was apart not only apart of it but a product of it. Although unintentional, his efforts did inspire the official abolishment of slavery. But this meant little to Daisuke as he was unable to supplant the Empty Throne despite all he's done.
Daisuke's bold actions did not come without consequence. It became clear to the government that Daisuke, in his current position, could be more of a risk than an asset. As his supporters began to position Daisuke for the next phase in his rebellion, Fendi Montana took charge of the operation to control Daisuke. Holding Hedwig hostage, Montana negotiated the purpose of the upcoming comic series from Sora, Warrior of Liberation. Forced to comply, the debut of the comic series, Sora, Warrior of the Sea, did not signal wide-scale rebellion as Daisuke and his followers hoped it would.
The time that followed was exceptionally unique circumstance. Through the combination of his own accolades and his fictional incarnation, Daisuke had become the most recognizable figure in the world. Although his intentions were made clear to officials within the regime, the idea of him turning into a martyr was a major concern and restart the fires they just put out. Thus, the World Government opted to control narrative. Offering him the position of Admiral, the hope was to highlight his selfishness through his obvious rejection of the rank.
However, Daisuke's rejection as well as the rising figures within the Marines (Diane, Shishio, Ieyasu, Forseti) symbolized a change within the organization. An era of individual justice rather sole following of Absolute Justice had emerged and thus Daisuke's battles with the World Government took place within the shadows of society.
Through his failures, Daisuke realized his approach was not effective enough. Instead of just replacing the Empty Throne, he needed to dismantle it. Thus in the years following the fall of the Redbeard Pirates Daisuke tactics changed considerably. Rather than targeting the most heinous of criminals to uplift his reputation, he turned his attention to the other seas. He was an activist in the fight against the heavenly tribute - paying the tax for countries who couldn't anymore. He began grooming marines and other figures. He infiltrated the Underworld, operating under the alias "The Godfather", implementing sanctions that often came at the expense of the government.
It wasn't like Daisuke went unchecked during this period either. There were many attempts end Daisuke's life as assassins like Hayate, Senkaku, Milan and Muse were sent to execute him or his allies. However, with his control over the media and the considerable powers at his disposal these attempts always ended in failure.
And at the start of the Great Pirate Era, Daisuke was ready to make his move again. Roger's speech prompted an era of chaos and calamity with pirates looting one kingdom after the next. Nations were openly discouraged by the protection the World Government was offering them. Daisuke prepared openly revolt once again however he was greeted by none other than the newly promoted Fleet Admiral, Diane. Offering him an ultimatum: "Serve or Retire". Backing him into a corner, Diane was prepared to die in effort to tame Daisuke. The situation was a lose-lose in his eyes, even if he defeated her his legacy would be compromised given the honorable status of Diana. He underestimated his enemy and the lengths they'd be willing to take surprised him. Once again, Daisuke's revolution was stopped before it even started. However, even in the face of defeat, he planted the seed for his next act.
In the years the followed their battle, Daisuke was an obedient officer. He followed orders and his activism against government policies came to halt. He was often the first line of defense against targets and he was stationed on the island of the Grand Line to deal with the worst of threats. It was noted several times by Chiyoko that his current position was likely a form of punishment for his actions in the past. He was a piece they were actively trying to sacrifice. But Daisuke had no interest in dying. Daisuke saw glory in nearly every battle he participated in during the Great Pirate Era. The comic that seemed more like a myth at this point was validated and his reputation further enhanced.
However, despite appearing as the obedient solider, Daisuke was far from it. His influence had grown large enough where he no longer personally needed to defy/act in order for his will to be felt. He had allies, subordinates, followers and designated survivors acting in his place. His defeat brought growth - he no longer needed to be the star of every story. This brought a level of patience and meticulous planning that had never been seen from Daisuke before. And thats because part of his dream had finally rested on the shoulders of another, Sora Kami.
I won't go into all the maniacal details I put into their dynamic yet but Daisuke wants Kami to be his final boss: the villain to his hero; the personification of the oppressive force that is the World Government. So after the events of Winter Wonderland, Daisuke felt Kami was high enough level to enact his plan. During his mission against Kong, Daisuke alerted Kong to Kami's existence, abilities and potential. Motivated by the fact he was never able to beat his captain, Kong waged war, in part, to draw this potential out of Kami, the new leader of Sky Force,
And that brings us to Fanon Canon time. If you'd like a non-descriptive version of Daisuke's timeline, his actions, and the overall impact the pursuit of his dream has had feel free to check his personal timeline.
Daisuke's a (former) World Noble, why and for what?!
So yes, after keeping Daisuke's origins ambiguous for a while now, I've finally settled on how I want his origins to play out. As you can read in his background, Daisuke is the bastard child of World Noble Stella Augustus and Queen of Lodestar Sora Sayuri, a blend of two opposing cultures. Daisuke will spend his first decade of life as the Child of Prophecy of Lodestar, destined to liberate the world. But through his own actions and choices, he reveals the secrets to his father, condemning the nation to destruction and the slaughter of his people. In turn, elevating Daisuke to the status of noble at his father's request.
Daisuke's time as a noble cements many personality traits - his sense of superiority, his treatments towards others, and helps cement his goal - to claim the Empty Throne.
The conclusion of his tenure as a noble also explains how he received his renowned devil fruit, the Nikyu Nikyu no Mi. He won/stole the fruit at the end of one of the Native Hunting Competition, highlighting the fruit inherent value.
Most are unaware of Daisuke's origins but it will be a major plot point/reveal in the Eclipse War Saga, contributing to the deconstruction of the Sora, Warrior of the Sea persona and his overall demise.
Since I am essentially applying for Stella Augustus being a noble as well it's worth noting that Augustus was an active consumer within the Underworld, operating under the alias "The Collector". He was killed in the God Valley Incident and Daisuke has managed to keep his origins secret.
As such a defining part of his character, I feel it is important for him to be a noble and his status will help highlight the nature that nobles typically have in our narrative.
Why should Daisuke have the Voice of All Things?
Honestly apping for the Voice of All Things is among the tougher things I have done - not sure how to exactly justify having an ability thats required for no other reason other than plot - as there's no real justification or rationale as we don't know why people have this ability - beyond the Three Eye Tribe.
Fortunately, story driven decision are my specialty and I use the Voice of All Things in a very explicit manner. While initially using kenbunshoku to substitute, I realized the Voice of All Things would better compliment to this plot line.
What is this plot point exactly? Well, as you can read from his history, Daisuke seems to have an inherent disposition towards hearing the voices of others. Hearing these voices impacts, motivates and defines these narratives - from understanding the true motivation of his mother, to finding poneglyphs, enhancing his form of combat. This is the case in the past and even now. However, even more interestingly, Daisuke currently "misuses" the ability. Unlike when he was young where he was highly sensitive and inherently skilled at using the VoAT - his mindset and outlook has shaped his capabilities. Rather than honing in on the true feelings or sentiments in someone's heart or an object, Daisuke can hone in one the feelings he views as values - mistaken them as their true intention. Similar to how his future sight operates, Daisuke has misguided sense of reality - helping him justify his actions. His usage of VoAT reflect his mindset. In summary, VoAT things isn't an ability I'm planning on using to simply Mary Sue Daisuke but rather highlight the significance of his role in the storyline and elevate his narrative
Lastly, if Daisuke does not have to VoAT things I'm going to have to apply for him being able to decipher the poneglyphs (Wouldn't be difficult app as Daisuke did take the memories of the Ohara scholar at the start of Battle of Ohara). But would prefer to keep that exclusive to those who actually are motivated and centered by the poneglyph plot.
Why Lodestar Island?
So some of you might be wondering: Why not just make another island? Why does it specifically need to be Lodestar Island?
Well to answer your question, the island's history and original culture are entirely based around the fact it's the last reachable island on the Grand Line. Similar to how isolationist become rich in their own distinct culture, Lodestar Island is shaped by the fact adventurers, pirates, scholars and explorers attempt to reach it. Its location being so far from the Mary Geoise and so difficult to reach (as you must traverse the entirety of the Grand Line) has also lead to targeted races and tribes to its shores, inherently diversifying the country.
This dynamic plays a huge role in my the story, particularly influencing Daisuke's origins and his narrative as whole. It serves as the foundation for the development of his goal. Being and continues to play a role in his story in present time, as it will be base of operations for the United Federation.
For those thinking the claiming of Lodestar undermines the journey of pirates. I strongly disagree with this sentiment. In reality, beyond the actual navigation of the Grandline, the difficulty of reaching Lodestar is the enemies along the way - most notably the Yonko. But as potentially an even greater threat than even the Yonko, Daisuke magnifies the difficulty.
Lastly, I hope with Lodestar I will be able to elevate the Road Poneglyph plot line with more context and enabling others to find out about them through more organic means: by following the canon plot point of pirates discovering the existence of the Road Poneglyphs via Lodestar. I already have a role-play set up with Fang and Berg.
Conclusion
And that's about it. To be honest I wanted to write more but you can find the bulk of the information on Daisuke's page. I wondered if the wait was worth the pay off? Probably not but I'm glad this is off my plate. Last point, obviously anything that needs approval in the app (like events with Diane) I'm actively applying for as well. Hence why I strongly suggest reading through his pages or at least look through his timeline.
But cheers and best of luck!
Hello, I'm in need of some fan made devil fruits. I have little of my own and need them for ocs
Layla and Orko in One Piece after the Timskip. MArco Nui and his friends, like the rest of Luffy's Crew, were sent in different directions and had to train in different locations. During that ended up in the same place: an island full of people who tried to prove the existenced of magic. Since Orko is a sorcerer and Layla has control over the element of shadows, they were priased like gods by this society of wizards in training. During the time when Luffy gave out his message to the crew to get stronger, They both trained to become stronger. Layla learned to imbue her daggers with darkness and cut through just about anything, while her Rhotuka spinners got an upgrade that lets her control minds, giving her three powers of rhotuka spinners. Orko also trained his magic well beyond their limits, becoming as strong as he once was back in Trolla. Layla also learned how to use Observation and Armament Hake, while Orko learned to use Observation Haki. After the incident in Dressrosa, Layla's bounty jumped to 300 Million Berries while ORko's was raised to 175 Million Berries after the two of them singlehandedly took down 500 fodder pirates in the Donxiote Family as well as defeating Buffalo of the Donquixote Family.
Layla and Orko in One Piece. Marco Nui's team are sent to the World of One Piece and end up joining the Straw Hat Pirates in hopes of making their world a better place. Layla becomes a Stealth Fighter in the group, while Orko becomes an Entertainer. Being a dagger enthusiast, She gets along well with Zoro and trains to cut things like he does with him. As for ORko, his magic applies a lot of tactical advantages in battle, and can be a help in entertaining the crew. ORko has never shown his face to anyone in the crew except Layla, and even around her he's nervous. When they gain their bounties, Orko gains the Epithet of "Weird Wizard Orko" with a bounty of 50 Million Berries, while Layla gets the Epithet "Shadow Dagger Layla" with a bounty of 200 Million Berries. Of course, this is before the Timeskip.
Marco Nui in One Piece after the Timeskip. Marco Nui and his friends, like the rest of Luffy's Crew, were sent in different directions and had to train in different locations. During that time, MArco Nui and Click landed in Amazon Lily with Luffy. After befriending Boa Hancock after a fight, He stayed behind while Luffy was in the battle to save Ace and tried to go back to Sabaody to make sure their friends were alright. But after the war, he recieved a message from Luffy to get stronger. He trained with the Amazons and learned how to use Armament and Observation Haki, and even Conquerer's Haki, as well as train his elemental powers to the fullest, even getting the hang of his Light and Shadow Elements to a certain degree. He also added more Pokeballs with Rahi in them to his arsenal after contacting his home. Soon after, he reuinited with the crew. His bounty was soon raised to 400 Million Berries after the incident at Dressrossa where he fought against Admiral Fujitora to a standstill, before turning his sights on the Donquixote Family. Click's bounty was reaised to 150 after the incident.
Marco Nui in One Piece. He and his team are sent to the World of One Piece and end up joining the Straw Hat Pirates in hopes of making their world a better place. Marco Nui and Click still act as a team, but Marco uses many different new things. For example, Pokeballs storing Rahi beasts from his homeworld (Yes, Rahi can be caught in Pokeballs) and he now wears a shawl in order to blend in and wear something akin to clothing. As part of thew Straw Hats, he values his crewmates, and has earned the epithet of "Elemental Lord Marco Nui" with a starting bounty of 280 Million Berries. His pet Click also has a bounty as "Scarab Shield Click" with a bounty of 100 Berries. OF course, this is only before the Timeskip.
