Hello again, it's Majin here with my second attempt to claim the Island where the Kamabakka Kingdom resides, Momoiro Island. (DISCLAIMER: I have talked to Kami and have his permission to use some words he wrote.)
As a user, why do I need this island?
The main reason I need this island is to solidify the reputation of my cooking organization, the Latoya Brigade. So far everything I've written, is nothing but words and claiming Momoiro Island and making it the second Island apart of the Latoya Brigade's dream world will do that. Not only will they help our reputation, the Okama will be significant parts of the organizations recruitment process and it will serve as a sort of scared training ground for Latoya Brigade Chefs to conqueror in order to officially join the brigade.
Even those who wish not to join the brigade could say they are a talented enough chef/worthy character as they were able to train their combat prowess and culinary skills with the Okama at Momoiro, under the Latoya Brigade's banner.
History I have planned for this Island?
The Okama were/are a heavily persecuted group. They were often viewed as abominations and the mentally diseased, Even slave traders didn't want them as they were viewed to have no value. Thus, one day, centuries ago, one ambitious Drag Queen set her sights on creating an island where all queens can live without fear. Thus the uninhabited island of Momoiro came to be. However, the first Queens dreams didn't come to reality. Pirates and travelers would often stumble across their islands and scrutinize the inhabitants, and attack them.
35 or so years ago, Latoya Teli'Anna ventured to the Island to study under the Okama and learn the legendary and heavily sought after Attack Cuisine. She wasn't welcomed in the slightest bit, due to the history of discrimination and abuse they had suffered, despite being in a Kingdom they called their own. Teli'Anna willingly offered her body to be physically punished by them to atone for the acts that mankind carried out against the Okama. Realizing that this woman was different from the other's, as she accepted them for who they are and everything they could be. The Okama allowed Teli'Anna to study under them and even went as far as forming an official alliance with her organization. Teli'Anna was not only a nearly unparalleled chef, but an incredible fighter as she defeated the 99 Newkama Kenpo Masters, and learned Attack Cuisine, but she offered the eternal protection of the Okama, from her organization as long and even after it stood.
The Okama became more welcoming to visitors under the protection and banner of the Latoya Brigade, and continued to serve along with Latoya Teli'Anna as some of the founding members of the Latoya Brigade. The Okama also assisted Teli'Anna in the construction of the current base of operations for the Brigade, Banquet Island, often visiting to cook and celebrate the anniversary of their relationship.
In the present time, Kamabakka Kingdom is regarded as sacred land in which only the worthiest of chefs can even dream of reaching, or even train at. The Latoya Brigade and Kamabakka Kingdom have help build the reputation of one another, in which both groups are regarded as the pinnacle of the culinary arts, and many dream to reach them.
Other Important Information
30 years Sora Daisuke visited the Island on numerous different occasions, prior to the establishment of a alliance between his friend Teli'Anna and the Okama. Daisuke and Okama appear to have a positive relationship.
Latoya Kelis and Latoya Von Klaus, children of Teli'Anna traveled to Momoiro to master her Devil Fruit prowess, combat prowess and culinary skills
The winner of the annual Grand Latoya Cooking Festival will have the chance to visit Momoiro Island and study under the Okama. The population of Momoiro will be very small, less than even one thousand due to the lack and inconsistent way of reproduction.
Location remains the same
Others will still be able to make characters from and visit this Island, but as it's Latoya Brigade Territory, so it will be something we must discuss as it will and is regarded as Sacred Ground by the organization.
Most recently the Moonheart and Diamond Pirates have visited the Island and were gladfully welcomed by the Okama and Chefs of the Latoya Brigade.
Thanks again for reviewing!
