Overview[]
Houshoku is best described as a very laidback and nice individual. She is often stated by the citizens of Dressrosa to be the polar opposite of her mother, Tatsuya Ryushiki, hoping she would rule Dressrosa in her place one day. Houshoku s always helping out people when they need to and even helps out with others choirs despite their protests being a princess who shouldn't be doing that kind of things. However, Houshoku's other trait is described as "doesn't take no for an answer" and when she sees someone that is in need of help, she will help them out the best way she can.
Houshoku has two unique sides to her personality: One, as described above, is very nice and laidback and the other that is serious and is dedicated to training. Houshoku herself says that being nice toward others all the time is a good feeling, however she will need the motivation to keep herself trained and all of that. As such, she will often train herself in the middle of the day even using her powers to make herself look different as she trains. Thanks to her father, Houshoku takes her training very seriously considering the Kazumorochi does focus on a lot of different battle styles as Houshoku is learning to use all of them. The second half of her personality is her more "tsundare" side as she will often blush angrily toward people that compliment her in anyway. Houshoku, due to how her mother has been treating her for most of her life, feels as she rarely receives complements from anyone so when she is complimented by someone, she gets flustered. Her training-focused side is also more concerned for fighting and even dresses herself in a more "loose" attire for her training. Though she doesn't like Angrboda D. Seiryuu's overall violent nature, she does respect him to not wear shoes when fighting saying it does "bring out it's true potential".
Obsession with eating[]

Houshou's intense appetite.
Houshoku's character defining trait is her love for eating. As a baby, Houshoku always ate more than an average person and Ryushiki often states it's just because she has dragon in her blood. While that is also one of the reasons, it is often stated because she has an eating disorder. However, this will be later to be false as Houshoku simply loves to eat more. Even before gaining her Devil Fruit powers, Houshoku would always go through a years worth of food in a whole day much to the annoyance of Ryushiki. She even joked that taking her to the Boin Archipelago would be dangerous but for the islands themselves. Even when sleeping, Houshoku would eat in her sleep if there is food in the vicinity.
After gaining the Baku Baku no Mi, Houshoku's eating habits skyrocket.
