Annubis-Ra also known as "Infadora the Dark Angel ", is the captain of the Infadora Pirates, a blind Pirate who is on a mission to sail the grand line. Following in his late caretakers footsteps he aims to find Wano and fulfill the promise he has made. He has slowly been building a powerful pirate crew and becoming a force to be reckoned with in the North Blue.

Personality

Annubis-Ra has always since a child been a calm and calculating individual.His calm demeanor comes with an charming witt and an optimistic attitude that in the end he believes that things will be as they have always intended to be . He has major respect for those who protect the weak and less fortunate no matter they be friend or foe. What classifies as weak and less fortunate to him seems not to apply to everyday citizens as his attacks on towns leave many causalities .He likes a challenge during a fight and is visibly excited about the thought of fighting someone stronger but he is not brash enough that thinks he will be able to beat them without thinking it through.

He has a strong dislike for the Navy and Marines and do not pass up an opportunity to strike them, even it may not be a direct approach.

Those close to Annubis-Ra call him Ra for short while his crew calls him captain Ra the world at large know him as Captain Infadora .With his pirate crew he shows a form of tough-love believing that this form of relationship will bring out the best in his crew.

Crew

Annubis-Ra's crew is made up of 3 small pirates crews that he single handedly dominated in the North Blue. The crews relocated to a bigger galleon ship named the Whiskey Cat and they became recognized as the Infadora Pirates. Being dominated Infadora beat the crews into submission and the weaker ones were culled. Each one beaten down and then helped back up by Captain Infadora himself.

Abilities and Powers

Annubis-Ra is regarded a haki master and swordsmen with skills equal to that of a Wano Samurai.

Physical Abilities

Even as a child, Ra already exhibited very high levels of physical capabilities brought forth by his brainwashing and the very intense training he endured. After living with Yasuke , Ra was personally trained him in the ways of samurai swordsmen ship and sky walking combat. Ra had attained tremendous physical prowess by adulthood.

Fighting Style

Annubis-Ra created his own fighting style called " The way of the Dark" is a type of fighting that utilities a form of Geppo, Haki enhanced physical strikes, and precise sword strokes. Annubis-Ra is the only known user. It allows the user to pivot without requiring them to make contact with the ground or any surface besides the air. This allows a user to attack continuously no what what position they find themselves in.His ability to use this fighting style amplified by his enhanced sense of vision. Annubis-Ra fighting style is said to be tricky to deal with as he doesn’t need to be directly looking at you to accurately launch attacks catching some by surprise.

Haki

Kenbunshoku Haki

Annubis-Ra is a master in Kenbunshoku Haki, he was taught to use it naturally on a continuous basis to aid in his blindness. With it, he is capable of sensing the presence, emotion, and intent of others and greatly aiding his reflexes to dodge attacks. This gives him an ability to "see" that far out recaches that of normal people. He has a degree of control over this ability that it allows him to focus on multiple things at once, things that are far away and near at the same time, and even through solid objects. Ra has stated before that even though he has a form of vision, he cannot actually see in the way normal people do and explains it as seeing with your whole body.

Busoshoku Haki

Annubis-Ra has demonstrated Mastery in Busoshoku Haki, although it was taught to him as Ryou. He is able to coat himself in haki like an armor to launch powerful strikes and to fend off bullets and bladed weapons. This also gives him the ability to hurt devil fruit users.By touching an object most notably being his sword, Ra can imbue it with his own haki to greatly increase its power and endurance. Ra is also able to project his Haki flow from his body without a medium through his body a short distance in order to attack opponents without touching them.

History

Annubis-Ra was born an on a island that sprung up in the North Blue within the last 60 years, the island was known as Catalina.It was thought to be a salvation for the less fortunate but it was quickly over run with armies of different factions.They began using the people of the land to fuel their armies in a war which lead to Annubis-Ra being kidnapped out of an orphanage after alll the adults had been taken.He had been forced into a war at the age of 8 years old by the Triple Canopy Militia Group , the last opposing threat to powerful Moko-Moko kingdom who want to take the entire island under their control . His recluntancy to fight required him to be subjected to brainwashing program that used electroshock therapy and torture to turn him into a warrior and assassin under the code name "Infadora". He served on the front lines for 3 years completely loyal under the brainwash. In his last year towards what looked liked could be victory and the end of the war, the Moko-Moko Kingdom employed a mysterious warrior.In Ra first encounter with the warrior not even a second before he looked at him, he was slashed by the swordsman's blade in the face with a strange attack. The attack not served his optic nerves and removed the brainwash from his head. When the dust finally settled over the battle the forces of Triple Canopy were defeated and Ra ended up in a medical unit permanently blind.

While the dust settled the Leaders of the Triple Canopy Militia Group decided to make a deal in which the top officers would be integrated into the Moko-Moko army ranks but the people of the kingdom wanted blood for Triples Canopy's war crimes so the agreement became that all the soldiers of the Militia would all be put to death. This lead would to a massacre of 90% of Triple Canopy's remaining forces with the exception of those in the medical wing with life changing injuries they figured they would suffer enough in life. During the massacre Ra could hear all the screams of his fellow comardes. To Ra it felt like as if they died in his head, he could feel their anguish, fear, lose of hope, and sense of betrayal.This event lead him to harbor hate for the Moko-Moko kingdom and the leaders of Triple Canopy which now turned the island to the Empire of Catalina.

After the events of the massacre, Anubis-Ra lived on the streets alone for months being kicked out of the hospital for disrespecting the current king. He was unable to properly adjust to being blind so he used his nose to find his way around and ended up in the food district. He would sleep next to the dumpsters and scavenge the trash for food. If the cooks had caught him scavenging they berate him, would dump trash on him, and beat him. So he eventually stopped eating and started to lose weight until he was very malnourished and on the brink of death.

Saved By a Wano Samurai

Eventually Ra was rescued and taken in by a man named Yasuke, who claimed to be a samurai from Wano. Yasuke moved Annubis-Ra to a small village high in the mountains called Snowhill, a place far away from the eyes of the moko-moko. Yasuke treated Annubis-Ra more akin to a pupil than to a son but told Ra stories in order to distract him from his pain. The stories were those of Wano's Legendary samurai. He taught him the story of Zatoichi, a blind samurai from Wano who roamed Wano looking for the perfect soba bowl. Yasuke told him that Zatoichi used a technique to move around on his journey, he told him with enough hard-work and training, that he may be able to learn it as well.

Annubis-Ra was trained by Yasuke in the ways of Ryou and how it can be applied to give him the ability to see. Ra was excited at the chance but trainings were exhausting and long. Yasuke taught him the techniques he learned as a Samurai in Wano but also a technique from his birthplace called SkyWalking. Annubis-RA excelled at Swordsmenship but his ability to use Haki was on another level. After 7 years of training Annubis-Ra could be mistaken for a person who wasn't blind as his abilities had risen to a point where his "sight" was better than most. Even after being able to move about the world free he still enjoyed stories but as he grew older the stories became those of Yasuke's exploits as a pirate. These stories left a sense of adventure within Ra and he had hoped one day that he and Yasuke would be able to leave this place together.

Towards the end of Ra's training Yasuke fell ill and died leaving behind a request for Annubis-Ra to burn his body and take his remains and sword to Wano to be buried amongst the Samurai. Annubis did as requested and burned the body placing them in an iron box wrapped in bandages. When he went to gather the sword there was a letter attached to it but he did not read it. He figured he would read it at the end of his journey and he set off for town named whiskey town of the moko-moko kingdom. As Annubis-Ra attempted to board the sea-train in whiskey town he spotted the leaders of triple Canopy aboard a navy ship. He figured before he head out to Wano he should deal with them for the crimes they committed during the war but he knew he would need a strong crew and set off.
