Ayra, also known as Valkyrie is a Pirate, Sniper and the Navigator of the Red Hood Pirates. She is the third member of the crew as well as the second to join. She is the adoptive daughter of Makina and the adoptive sister of Jio.
Born in the South Blue, Ayra was originally a member of the Black Fist Pirates after being forced to join the crew but joined the Red Hand Pirates after being freed by Hellsing D. Nero. Her dream is to draw a map of the entire world. She currently has a bounty of 
220,000,000.

Ayra is a fair skinned young women with a somewhat short height of 167.64 cm (5'5) with a curvaceous yet athletic build due to years of physical fitness. She has long, golden blonde, wavy hair, round electric blue eyes, a very small nose, and thinnish eyebrows that are the same color as her hair. She has a scar near the back of her neck that is usually covered by her hair. She wears a blue and black ballroom dress, a large white and blue cloak with golden floral designs around the sashes, black and white gloves, and black shoes.
