Rollo D. Lothbrok, also known as “enter name here” and also “enter name here”, is the Captain of the Lothbrok Pirates. He is from the winter island known as “Drum Island”, located in what is known as “Paradise” within the “Grand line”. Throughout his childhood, Rollo was subjected to various experiments on behalf of the Drum King, all in the pursuit of the creation of a “super solider”. These experiments were conducted by his parents, who were experts in the field of “Lineage Factor” and “Genetic manipulation.”
Under the deception of the Drum King, Rollo consumed the Hiku Hiku no mi, a logia-type devil fruit that allows Rollo to generate, manipulate, and transform into iron sand. In tandem with his genetic augmentations, Rollo can generate magnetism through his devil fruit. Letting him create hyper dense iron sand constructs, attract and repel metal away from him, and create electrical blast through his “Murasakiiro no Denki”.
Driven by an intense desire for freedom, power, and prestige. Rollo D. Lothbrok seeks become the King of the World, and he is willing to do anything in his power to achieve such a position of status.
Appearance[]
A young, attractive, and tall man. Genetic modification aside, Rollo faired relatively well when it came to the area of good looks. Especially, seeing how bizarre and malformed some of his parent experiments turned out to be. He stands around six-foot elven inches in height, and consequently weighs about “enter weight here”. Rollo’s size is relatively impressive, at least, when it comes to his family. Both his mother and father were short, standing at five foot four and five foot six respectively. Granted, his height is nowhere near the monstrous proportions that could be found on the sea, but he is the tallest in his family. Rollo, however, has his father’s ginger hair and his mother’s fair skin. His ginger hair is a little longer, usually kept up with a bandanna, and spike up just a bit in the back.
During his time at Drum Island, as a test subject and science experiment, Rollo wore relatively plain clothes. Plain clothes that largely consisted of a white jumpsuit, which bears that flag of the Drum Kingdom on his chest, a mask, and blue gloves. He was seen wearing this outfit with a labcoat, or sometimes a labcoat. It usually depended on his father’s mood. Rollo changed his outfit after he escaped the laboratory.
After Rollo escaped his parent’s laboratory at Drum Island, Rollo stole clothes from other pirates and civilians until he found an outfit that he liked. His chosen attire consists of a pure long white coat with a ruffled neckline and sleeves. However, the coloration and length of his short often varies. For pants he wears dark purple (almost eggplant) colored trousers, tucked inside brown boots, alongside a lighter purple haramaki. Rollo also chooses to wear a pink sash tied around his waist with a piece of jewelry hanging from it.
He has also been known to wear random jewerly, such as armlets, rings, bracelets, and earrings. There are two things that Rollo almost always has on him. One, some sort of bandanna which he wears over his head, and two his coat. Rollo’s coat his unique. His signature coat is dark brown, adorned with spikes on its shoulders and lined in a mauve purple. The coat is extremely flared and wild, and well, Rollo wears it over his shoulders like a cloak.

- DX Adam the Rex: In a manner of speaking Rollo and DX Adam grew up together. Both of them were experiments conducted by the Drum King, and Rollo’s parents. Rollo met DX Adam when he was “enter name here” years old, and the two played with one another during their allotted play time under the watchful eye of his parents and the Drum Kingdom’s scientist. When Rollo decided that it was time to leave, and underwent his rampage, he freed DX Adam. While they were escaping, Rollo sarcastically remarked that DX Adam needed a better name, “Tobias was boring and not scary”, thus he named his friend DX Adam. When it comes to their personalities, both DX Adam and Rollo are polar opposites, which more often than not, leads to amusing interactions with one another. Despite their differences, Rollo and DX Adam are thick thieve and practically inseparable. Their conflicting traits balance one another out, creating a deadly duo.

Physical Abilities[]
A fearsome foe to encounter in battle, Rollo is strong enough to bare the dangers of the new world. Rollo is known for his superhuman physical strength, endurance, and durability, three things that are the product of his genetic modifications. While escaping Drum Kingdom, Rollo engaged in a battle with two former CP agents and managed to nearly break one of the agent’s necks, despite the agent having tekkai activated at the time. Throughout the battle, Rollo was able to take multiple haki imbued hits, even a point blank Rokugan. Rollo was even able to, at one point after an argument with DX Adam, crack his crewmate’s purple diamond armor.
Rollo has also shown to have an extraordinary recovery rate, and to be extremely skilled in hand-to-hand combat. As part of the super-solider program, the Drum King hired someone to show Rollo how to utilize Hasshoken. With this ability, Rollo can harness the powers of vibrations around his limbs to generate shockwaves. Unfortunately, the shockwaves can be countered by significant amount of force.

Under the command of the Drum King, Rollo’s parents conducted experiments on him as a fetus. These experiments persisted well before his birth and throughout his childhood. The exact procedures that the augmentations were made through are unknown, but what is known, is that the augmentations had been conducted down to the genetic level. They are more biological and genetic in nature, rather than cybernetic. The primarily augmentation, and the most obvious, comes in the form of Rollo’s “Ametist Rafmagns”, which roughly translates to “Amethyst electric”. With amethyst electric, Rollo can generate and discharge purple electricity from any part of his body. When combined with his iron sand devil fruit, Rollo can generate electromagnetism. An ability that he refers to as “Ametist Rafsegul” or “Amethyst Electromagnet”

- Ametist Rafsegul: Höfnun- With Amethyst Electromagnet: Rejection, Rollo turns one or both of his hands into iron sand. Then by running amethyst electric through his now iron hand, Rollo creates a strong electromagnet. With his iron sand hand turned into an electromagnet, Rollo can use “Ametist Rafsegul”. Calling upon the powers of the Amethyst Electromagnet, Rollo generates a strong repulsive magnetic field. This can be used to repel metal objects back in the direction that they came from. Rollo can also repel people if metal has been attached to them, or they are wearing metal.
- Murasakirro no Eikyo- Rollo uses “Murasakiiro no Denki” to generate a mass of purple electricity around his fist or in the palm of his hand. Then while in melee combat, Rollo delievers a strong right punch into his opponent, unleashing a wave of purple electricity through his opponent’s body which severely damages and knocks them back. The name of this technique can roughly be translated to “Purple Impact”.
- Murasakino no Aruku- A variation of “Geppo” or at least, Rollo’s answer to “Geppo”. Rollo will use “Murasakiiro no Denki” to create a strong attractive pull, which will pull him to a magnetic object. Alternatively, Rollo can transform his body partially into iron sand, repel or pull him from one location or another, effectively launching him towards a direction of his chosen. The name of this technique roughly translates to "Purple Step".
Devil Fruit[]
As part of the “Super-Solider” program, Rollo was forcefully fed the Hiku Hiku no mi by the Drum King; then demanded that his parents augment or experiment on the fruit. For about twelve years, Rollo has undergone intense training and experimentation, and has near absolute mastery over his fruit—mastery that was gained through blood sweats and tears. For that reason, the power and strength of the Hiku Hiku no mi has been drastically augmented, granting Rollo greater control over his devil fruit substance. Twelve years of experimentation and training with the Devil Fruit has made Rollo one of the most dangerous and powerful devil fruit users within the Grand Line.
A unique logia type devil fruit, the Hiku Hiku no mi allows the user to generate, control, and become iron sand. As an logia fruit, the user can become the element in question, allowing non-seastone weapon attacks, and non-haki imbued attacks to pass through him. Unlike normal logia fruits however, the intangibility can be altered into two different states; a solid state which allows him to shatter and reform, and a non-solid state, in which attacks pass through him. Whatever the case, Rollo this devil fruit grants him a degree of immunity to normal attacks and projectiles.
Rollo can use the iron sand fruit to generate devastating sandstorms, which are coarse enough to easily shred through steel and other sturdy objects. He can also use his devil fruit to generate massive tsunamis of iron sand which can crush and drag an opponent away. Alternatively, he can make blades of iron sand, of various sizes and shapes, to cut or slice through anything in his way. The fruit can be used defensively, creating walls and barriers to defend himself or an ally. Rollo can even transform his lower body into loose iron sand to attain a variation of flight. He has even been seen using his iron sand to break down and “grind” materials to fortify and strengthen his attacks.
On top of the manipulation, generate, and control of iron sand—the Hiku Hiku no mi has a unique and special ability. In a manner like the Yami Yami no Mi, the iron sand can generate magnetism—which allows the user to attract and repel metals and magnetize the individual grains of his iron sand. This ability allows him to create hyper dense constructs from his iron sand, which can easily shatter bedrock and steel.
The fruit does have some noticeable weakness. The most important, and often challenging weakness is a susceptibility to acid. Acid or corrosive base attacks naturally bypass his logia intangibility, similar to how the Magu Magu no mi was able to overwhelm and much through the logia intangibility of the Mera Mera no mi. But said corrosive and acidity must be strong enough to melt or eat away at metal. In addition to this, the acid can melt the iron sand constructs that he generate, so can intense heat created from fruits like the Magu Magu no mi. Theoretically, the Gutsu Gutsu no mi should be able to eat the iron sand as well.

The son of two renown Marine scientist. Both his mother and father studied the “devil fruit lineage” and its relationship with the “human lineage” factor. The main purpose of their research was to figure out and improve upon the creation of “super-human” warriors, with the intention of editing the lineage factor of humans pre-birth. Their research was a bit complicated, there was some successes in alteration of the lineage factor within fetuses, but little progress in the alteration of “lineage factor” within non-fetus. Rollo was the result of one of these experiments on the “human and devil fruit lineage” factor in fetuses. The reasons behind why Rollo’s mother conducted experiments on her own body is unknown, some who are in the “know” believe that Rollo had been made through “artificial means”.
Nonetheless, most of Rollo’s childhood was spent in the lab. At the age of four years old, Rollo’s parents were being located to a new Marine laboratory. During the transit to their new base, the marines escorting them were ambushed by a notorious pirate group. Rollo, his mother, and his father would be taken into slavery, and sold to the ruler of Drum Island. The ruler, recognizing their skill and knowledge, decided to force his parents to create super soldiers for a future army- an act, he hopped would gain him a position as a Celestial Dragon. They continued their research but directed said research on Rollo. The deceived the King of Drum Island, arguing that Rollo would serve as a basic genetic template for his soldiers.
The King fell for the deception. To further their research and his quest for an army of a super solider, the King forcefully fed Rollo a devil fruit- the Hiku Hiku no mi. This irritated Rollo’s parents, but nonetheless, they continued their work. The intention was that Rollo would free them from Drum Island so that they can return to the Marines and finish their research, but their ambitions would be all for not, as Rollo grew to hate the various experimentations that his parents forced under him and sought a way to free himself. The experimentation continued until Rollo was around thirteen years old. It was at this point that his parents underwent some sort of miraculous discover with their field of research. But, before they could officially conduct the experiment and fully unlock this mysterious discovery, Rollo went on a rampage. With that miraculous discover dormant.
During his rampage Rollo destroyed his parent’s laboratory, nearly killing them in the process. He freed another experiment, simply known as DX Adam, who was dubbed Adam the Rex. Another captive who had been subjected to similar experiments. DX Adam had been deemed a failure, at least, according to Rollo’s parents. DX Adam the Rex, who had undergone similar experimentation as Rollo, but to a lessor extent. Similar to Rollo, DX Adam the Rex was force fed a devil fruit, specifically, the Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Thalassodromeus an ancient zoan fruit. DX Adam and Rollo became close friends, having socialize with one another whenever they weren’t being experimented on and allowed to be kids.
