Durmaine Richard, more commonly known as "Ricky", is an orca Fish-Man and the captain of the Whale Pirates. He is widely known as "Killer Whale" and "Apex Predator".
Before forming his own crew, Richard was a slave for World Nobles. During his tenure as a slave, he became a incredibly inspiring figure, eventually leading a minor rebellion and managing to escape along with a few others.

Richard is very tall and extremely well muscled. He has a sharply contrasted black-and-white body; being mostly black on his back side and white on the front side. His tail fluke is also white on the underside while his eyes have white patches behind them and a white "saddle patch" exists behind his dorsal fin and across his back.
Richard wears a necklace made of several shark teeth around his neck. He has several slash marks on his chest and a gash on the side of his face. A strip of cloth stays wrapped tightly around his midriff and he wears a red captain's coat that drapes off his shoulders like a cape. The Fish-Man chooses not to wear a shirt but does wear black trousers that he has rolled up just right below the knees. For footwear, he dons a pair of geta sandals.
