Kaoru Makoto is a female Pirate and a member of the Triple D Pirates. She was one of the two founding members along with the Captain Dagu Dagarasu Daiichi. However, today she doesn't claim to be the first mate anymore, by her own choice, and instead gave that honor to Stacy-onna. Before becoming a Pirate she was a member of the Cypher Pol agency CP9 before going on to become one of the founders of CP Aegis 0, and as such is a master all of the Rokushiki techniques. She's also a master of Observation, Armament, Speed, and Concealment Haki, and also ate the Devil Fruit Kaze Kaze no Mi, which allows her to create, manpulate, and transform into the forces of the wind, essentially turning her into a Wind Human. She's also one of the few members of the Triple D Pirates to possess an awakened Devil Fruit.
