Gingerbeard, takin the name of his mother Roronoa Chopper, became King of the Pirates using his Beam Beam power at the young age of Four year old.he trained very very very very very very very hard with his master Sabo in oreder to surpass his limits and become king of the Pirates, but in the end he died without ever making it there.
This made Gingerbeard very sad, but he didnt give up, he found a new master, Splinter, who could train his to get very very stronger, abd after 5 years of arduous training, he finally obtained the very very powerful he wish for, and at the age of 11 he became King of the pirates.

After he became the pirates king, Gingerbeard very very fast set off back to Merryguah to take on the celestial dragons. but he was stopped by his great grandmother, Monkey D. Nami, the same person who murdered his father three year ago, but this time is different, and now gingerbeard is very very more powerful and easyily defeeted his grandmom, after killing her he go to Merryguah and climb all the way up to the castle and he because he is very very smart he killed all of the slaves to stop they're suffering.. after that he had to fight the three admirals, Akainu, Fujitora. and Helmeppo, along with Vice Admiral Coby of the sixth dviision. in less then 10 seconds he easily killed akainu and fujitora with a beam beam attack, but struggled with the married couple , after many weeks with all of his limbs misssing he finally killed coby and helmeppo and the celestial dragons and the gorosei and he won
