Crew Battles[]
- Heatwave Pirates vs. Pegasus Wings Pirates: This battle lasted for several days and nights on an island with a devoid city. Eachof the crews Division Commanders met their to prove who was stronger, much like the battle between Riku and Akira's crews. At the end, the crews left with added respect for one another.
- Heatwave Pirates vs. Raiken Montizuma: This occured at the Celestial Summit battle. Raiken faced off against his crew in person for the first time in the two years that he became an Admiral, now going by the alias Admiral Rushifa (translated to Lucifer). The Admiral showed a near unmatchable fighting style with his Devil Fruit powers as he intentionally seperated his former crew using a wall of hellfire because he wanted to fight his brother to himself.
- Heatwave Pirates vs. Sky Pirates: Occured at Sabaody Archipelago. This was a quick and lopsided battle after Raiken defeated Skyla with a single fire-imbused kick. The Heatwave Pirates then subdued the attack Sky Pirates crew.
- Heatwave Pirates vs. Free World Pirates: Before both crews gained more members, these two crews had a duel at the requst of Aiden D Lazlo. They battled for an entire day, ending with a tie as both crews had newfound respect for one another.
Individual Battles[]
- "Indeed. The stronger we stay, the better off the future for both of us will be."
- —Raiken's last words to Ryuu as his crew departs the battle against the Pegasus Wings Pirates.
- Raiken Montizuma vs. Ryuu Tsubasa: During the battle between each of the Captains' crews, Raiken and Ryuu fought in a battle against death itself to see who was the true superior warrior. When the battle ended, the two walked off the battlefield that day with newfound respect for one another.
Events[]
- Assault on Mariejois: Raiken led his crew, along with the others of the Goshin, in an all out ambush on the Holy Land Mariejois. Raiken played a crucial part in setting the slaves free from captivity, as well as burning it to the ground to make way for the Great Dragon Pirates' new base of operations.
- Establishment of the 5 Gods of the New World: Raiken helped Akira establish the Goshin through his efforts in the Mariejois Assault and Marineford Battle.
- Second Marineford War: In the unprecendented second war at Marineford, the Heatwave, Great Dragon, Demon Eye, and Pegasus Wings Pirates breached the Marines and launched yet another all out assault. The resulting violence led to the defeat of Admirals Ryokugyu, Kizaru and Fujitora, as well as the death of Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, while the Marines were sent to Impel Down
