The Kufu Kufu no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows the user to create blasts and shock waves from anywhere on their body, making them a Blast Human (爆風人間 Bakufū Ningen).
Etymology[]
- "Bakufū" (爆風) means "blast" in Japanese.
- In the English version, it is called the Blast-Blast Fruit.
Appearance[]
The Kufu Kufu No Mi is a purple and blue, oval shaped fruit with a short stem sprouting out the top, with swirls in a circular pattern. Its overall appearance greatly resembles a bitter melon.
Strengths and Weaknesses[]
Levi has the ability to create blasts from anywhere on his body. He can freely control the strength of said blasts, making him able to only push people away from him or send them flying for differing distances. He creates these blasts mostly with his fists, feet, chest and his mouth, creating the illusion of either a loud scream or something similar to a "mouth laser". With enough force behind the usage, these blasts can become powerful shock waves, capable of harming people they come in contact with. These waves also affect the environment around him, making Levi able to push various things away from him.
However, these blasts are hard to control and the area affected by them depends on the force behind attack, making it risky to use them in many situations where comrades or other factors might be hit by the blasts as well. If not used properly, the blasts created by the fruit also affect the user, damaging the body part that was used to create said blast. Anything outside of range of the blasts will not be affected by it and depending on whatever was hit by the blast, may ignore it's effects depending on it's resilience, whether it be living or non-living things.
Usage[]
In combat, Levi uses his fruit to push things away from him or propel himself into a direction, usually by creating blasts by kicking his legs into the air behind him. He also uses the ability to jump to superhuman heights by creating the blest under his feet when jumping. While airborn, Levi can create blasts to push things below him even further into the ground or even "fly" to a certain extent by continuously creating blasts. However, keeping control of where you are blasting yourself to while attempting to stay airborn is incredibly difficult.
