This article, Mukijindō, is the co-property of both Felosr231 and Majin Khi.

Mukijindō ( 鬼神きじん どう Mukijindō?) is a martial art practiced by the Kijin.

Overview[]

These abilities were developed by the Oni throughout their history of existence, each being made by the individual tribes as each had their own specialization and needs to meet. After the tribes were unified under the first head Chief it became common ground for the Oni race to practice and learn these with only some of the greatest capable of mastering all six.

Usage[]

Techniques[]

Silent Waltz[]

Silent Waltz (静粛円舞 Seishuku Enbu?) is a movement is based around a motion that creates multiple afterimages of the Oni's body through a varying cadence of steps to confuse the opponent or prey to create decoys. The more advanced the user the more afterimages can be made, the current record in Fuji is Fifty.

Thousand Feet[]

Thousand Feet (千フィート Sen Fiito?) is a technique used through sheer training, Oni of the Sand Tribe can make their heels only briefly touch the ground as they run, meaning they can "recycle" the energy of their feet's impact and protect their legs from fatigue. When going down a slope or a cliff, Oni can only hop on the relief several times in order to reduce the impact. This running style allows them to take shortcuts through natural obstacles and run for countless miles.

Wave Motion Style[]

Wave Motion Style (波動拳法 Hadō Kempō?) is the act of tightening specific muscles located on their bodies they can release power and devastating strikes that also release devastating shockwaves. When tightening specific muscles they cause them to vibrates while preparing for the attack. This martial art is thought of as a familiar branch connected to the Hasshoken yet it doesn't focus on increasing the power of an impact but instead on building up and releasing powerful attacks with master's of this martial art able to fire off wave after wave with some of the strongest master's able to create building leveling shockwaves with only a seconds charge.

Temperature Control[]

Temperature Control (温度調節 Ondochousetsu?) is obtained through vigorous training in temperate biomes, the Kijin have mastered regulation of their own body temperatures. With this technique, the Kijin can control their bodily temperature to perform a myriad of things, such as making their blood boil. Once their boiling blood reaches oxygen it becomes hot enough to burn foes.

Kanabō Combat[]

Kanabō Combat (金棒コンバット Kanabō Konbatto?) Kanabo combat is a branch of Mukijindō which is traditionally the primary form of the martial art that is practiced first to most Kijin. As one would guess this martial art involves the use of a Kanabo, a spiked two handed war club. Due to their unnatural immense strength and durability most Kijin prefer this weapon due to its sheer offensive capabilities and defensive qualities it offers, as it maximizes on their natural capabilities. Similar to the giant combat, the users of Kanabo combat can send out highly dense and powerful bursts of sir st s target with a swing if their attacks, seen when Ōtakemaru matched blows with Trygve when their attacks met. Though, despite their size and how others typically assume, this martial art isn't simply standing your ground and swinging your club, as other users are capable of twirling their Kanabo around to deflect projectiles away from themselves while others use it much more like a pollarm, lifting themselves off the ground to dodge an attack aimed at their feet then quickly slamming their weight down on an enemy. While the weight of the weapon is immense as ones used outside of training are much heavier and imbalanced, the conditioning done for this martial arts is really gruesome but used to set the stage for most other martial arts. A more seasoned user of this martial art doesn't mention the weight of their weapon so much anymore, in fact masters often say the weapon feels like an extension of their own beings. Hanami, a well seasoned user mentions it's more to lead the Kanabo with it following your instruction. Those of the Shichiloh clan are considered the original creators of this martial art and their current two heirs are the prime examples as Ōtakemaru was able to convert the martial art from war clubs to his swordsmanship. Though, Shichiloh Dulari is considered one of the greatest users of this martial art in the last few generations from an early age, having an incredibly affinity for the use of this weapon, with her use it thought of as legendary due to her movement and innate grasp with it. She has displayed that while the weapon is large and heavy, it used correctly it can be much more graceful and fluid, something that had sparked a revolution of the art.

  • Tenrai Yari (天来槍 Tenrai Yari?, literally meaning "Heavenly Spear") An oni cocks their club back before thrusting it forward, to send out a highly pressurized spear of compressed air.

Primal Reversion[]

Primal Reversion (プライマル逆コース Puraimaru Gyakukousu?) is a technique not many Oni are on possession of as you need to be both naturally capable of using at as it's not found in every Oni but also need to be trained on how to summon and maintain this form.

In this state, Oni lose their more human-like appearance and revert into their more primal and original forms, getting a different colored skin and their horns only getting larger. When they enter this state all every aspect of their body grows, from their height, their muscles, their hair, nails, everything, making them look much more beastly. It is said when I'm this form they've officially increased their power with the max seen being by ten times original strength. Though the drawbacks being that the longer one is in this state the harsher the recoil their body goes through when out of it. Many Oni have died using this technique for only a few minutes as their bodies are being forcibly changed and reverted to their primal state.
