The Snake Eye Pirates are the crew of the Pirate Titan, Serpentenes Apophis. They are associates of the Dark Syndicate, who seek to destroy the Kuja tribe.

Symbol

The symbol of the Snake Eye Pirates is of a skull with a snake slithering throughout it. According to Apophis, he chose it as a delibrately mockery of the Kuja Pirates symbol.

Operations

The Snake Eye Pirates generally wander the New World aimlessly, avoiding attention where they can, and only occasionally plundering when they can. They are associates of the Dark Syndicate, occasionally coming to the Syndicate's aide or assistance when called. In exchange, the Syndicate supplies and funds certain amounts of the Snake Eye Pirates affairs.

Many inner memebrs of the crew were in someway wronged by the Kuja tribe. To that end, the greater goal of the Snake Eye Pirates is to someday avenge themselves on the Kuja, and see Amazon Lily burn. Unlike the Ancient Sea Pirates, who Zero always intended to turn on, he was intent on actually fulfilling his deal with the Snake Eye Pirates.

Crew Strength

The Snake Eye Pirates are a relatively small crew, only having slightly more than 100 active members. All of the members posses some sort of snake-affinity, with most of the officers having snake Zoan-Devil Fruit abilities. As Apophis is very selective in regards to his crew, many members are long time veterans, who are skilled and experienced combatants.

Apophis has a pet Grand Line Cobra named Naga. An extremely large snake, Naga was strong enough to sink an entire Marine fleet on his own, and to subdue both of the snakes that pull the Kuja pirates' ship. Apophis was able to control Naga through a combination of his snake abilities, and his haki.

Since the Snake Eye Pirates are associates of the Dark Syndicate, they have access to large amounts of money and resources. Zero also granted them a certain amount of command over certain divisions of the Syndicate. They are also strong enough to intimidate the core members, including Gusano of Crimson Claw.
