The Fortuna is an entertainment city built by the Kuniumi Corporation's founding members and currently owned by Enma, the more transnational focused aspect of the Kagetaika-Gumi, and managed and supervised by select members of the Zaccarria Family. As a product of Kuniumi Corp, the Fortuna is adorned with some of the world's largest and finest things, in a massive luxury eight-star island resort, gambling reprieve and parlor, and vast market district, the Fortuna is an answer to the question, "What if the party never had to end?"
Home to one of the world's biggest record labels in Fortuna HQ with musical venues all it's own, owned by the Kuniumi Corp and some of it's greatest musical talents referred to as Superstars, architectural marvels built by the members of the Kuniumi Corporation generally having their creative talents be entirely unrestrained for the purpose of this construction, and nightclubs and even red-light entertainment being presented on the island, the Fortuna is considered to be the Kuniumi Corporation outdoing themselves.
As the ultimate island for nightlife, for unique reasons affiliated with the use of a particular Devil Fruit the Fortuna is considered to be in a constant state of night despite the actual positioning of the Sun relative to the island, fittingly representing the entire focus of this particular island. From pirate crews simply looking for musicians within the territory or looking for an opportunity to relax, royalty looking for places to spend their vast wealth, and Marines with gambling compulsions, the Fortuna is open for all, though heavily guarded, surveilled and monitored effectively every instant of every second of the day.

Literally meaning the bold, as in the quote "Fortune fa
vours the bold"; Fortes is an island-sized district of the Fortuna focused entirely on gambling, aiming to be regarded as what is unquestionably the world's largest casino and gambling territory. From arcades to poker to blackjack, horse racing, pachinko; venues for sports betting around the world and even venues to bet on current affairs, the Fortes district of the Fortuna is considered to have something for everyone.
As a result, Fortes is extremely popular among crowds of virtually every faction; having applied for the status of a demilitarized zone. While it does indeed have it's fair share of commercialization in the form of markets, tradesmen for hire as well as theatres and nightclubs for entertainment it is predominantly a gambling focused district. An island that was simply composed of Fortes would already be a hotspot for anyone with the money to spend with the hopes to win big; but the Fortuna still has much more to offer.

- One might think this was primarily inspired by the Gran Tesoro, and as much as the author'd wish to pretend that was the case; the real motivation for having made The Fortuna is because of The Diamond Casino and Resort in GTA V.
- Fortuna is the Roman Goddess of luck.
- Each of the attractions on the Fortuna are based on or named after an aspect of the goddess, or related to her in some manner.
